You have all the innovative ideas, you have the rockstar team to make it happen — but you just don’t have the funding? If this sounds familiar, we’ve been there! A huge part of Advokate’s mission is advocating for people, hence the name, and we want to help make YOUR dreams come true.
Securing funding can be a daunting task. Heck, just trying to Google search the expanse of the internet can be so draining that you want to give up. We are here to be the sign from the universe that you need to keep going! Not everyone can get grant funding from every source and that’s okay. That’s how we are able to succeed because there are resources suited to everyone, somewhere.
Advokate is a Certified New York State MWBE (Woman-Owned Business Enterprise) and this puts us in a position to help you meet that MWBE requirement, which is often anywhere from 10% to 20%, when it comes to state funding. We are here for you!

Advokate does not offer grant writing services but will write up any quotes, statements, letters, etc. that you may need from us regarding our services. We may also be able to help connect you to resources and if you are a for-profit company we would love to connect you to possible non-profit fiscal sponsors.
We also can help you out with in-kind matching funds. Often this is a requirement, and we’re happy to help out when we can.

Here’s the process:
- Reach out to Advokate for grant partnership and we’ll give you everything you need from us in terms of pricing, turnaround time, certification proof, match, etc.
- You apply for the grant
- You follow-up on the grant
- If you secure funds, let us know and we will send you a contract and quote
- Once the funds are released to you, we will get to work!
- You pay us half the funds at the signing of the contract and the other half at the completion of the work
