Advokate is proud to welcome Sam Hyde as our newest Marketing and Design Intern! Sam is a creatively-driven designer and photographer currently studying Media Arts at SUNY Adirondack. She has a passion for finding creative visual solutions and is excited to begin her career.

After studying at SUNY Adirondack for over a year now, Advokate is her first experience in the design and marketing industry itself. While she doesn’t have specific plans for the future, she knows she will continue to pursue graphic design as a career and continue photography on the side as well.

“I knew a creative career would be a risk, but I’ve been incredibly fortunate to find and develop an incredible network at SUNY Adirondack,” says Sam. “I’ve already learned so much working with Advokate and I’m so grateful for the team here. Everyone has been so kind and friendly here and it’s a treat to be with them. It’ll be hard finding an atmosphere like this in the future!”

Sam also enjoys other creative hobbies such as illustration, writing, and general nerd activities. She also enjoys outdoor sports year-round, such as hiking, camping, kayaking, and snowboarding.

Cam is a South Glens Falls native with a deep passion for the Glens Falls Region. He keeps all of Advokate’s operations running smoothly – overseeing projects, meeting with clients, managing the team, and more. He helps our clients create content that engages, creates a sense of community, and helps to drive traffic to their website to increase sales, awareness, donations, and more. He enjoys spending time downtown with friends and family – and his German Shepherd dog, Hudson. He serves on the Board of Directors for Nearcare, the Marketing and Fundraiser committee for the Charles R. Wood Theater, and the World Awareness Children Museum Events committee. He is the current president of Lower Adirondack Pride.
