Meet Advokate’s intern Brian

Brian the intern

Advokate has two summer interns. Brian is with us courtesy of NABA (Northeastern Association for the Blind at Albany), and we asked him to write about how the internship is going so far. Brian is into cartooning, helpful in critique, and has worked up a few designs for our clients, which you can see below. He’s also into social media, with more than 1,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and nearly that many followers on Instagram.

He is especially into illustrating cartoons as you’ll see from the car he created  for O’Brien Insurance’s Facebook Page, so if you need anything done in his style this summer, let us know!

Hello, my name is Brian Burnett and I’m into comics, cartoons & hardcore thrash metal. I recently started working at Advokate. My experience here has been good so far. Kate seems really nice & we’ve gotten along well thus far.

I’ve already done several projects for Kate such as some Facebook graphics, logos & promo related works & look forward to doing many more. Being that its only my third week I feel that I’ve yet to try everything out that Kate has for me, but I’m much looking forward to it. While some of the projects here are not exactly my speed, I’m enjoying my time here & look forward to working with Kate in the future.

Feel free to browse my Instagram and YouTube, but be warned that the language may not be suitable for some viewers.

Below is some of the work I’ve done for Advokate during my internship.
