We’ve got all the deets on the Occupancy Tax Grant being offered by The City of Glens Falls!

If your upcoming event or program encourages visitors to stay overnight and spend money in the City of Glens Falls, then this grant program is for you!

“In screening applications, preference will be given to organizations whose programs and events supplement and enhance the City’s tourism promotion efforts to draw visitors from outside the region.”

Who can apply:

  • Individuals
  • Non-profits
  • For-profits
  • Clubs and groups
  • Sole businesses
  • Business Consortiums

Examples of eligible events:

  • Car shows
  • Festivals
  • Guided tours
  • Boating
  • Fishing
  • Hiking
  • City-wide sales
  • Maps
  • Signage

All applications will be reviewed by the Common Council and the Occupancy Tax Committee.

Applications and tentative budgets are due to the Mayor’s Office by March 26, 2021.
