Shirt Factory Gallery Call for Entries:
Juried Show of Small Works with Juror John Hampshire

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Shirt Factory Gallery, announces a call for entries for its second annual Juried Show of Small Works. Entries must have a maximum image size of 12 inches in any direction and maximum frame dimension of 16 inches. The juror is John Hampshire, Associate Professor of Studio Art at SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury, New York and professional artist.

“This show is back by popular demand,” says Shirt Factory Gallery Coordinator Dave Francis. “We had 110 artists submit 262 works last year, and the artists have been asking us when we are doing another Small Works show. Our schedule opened up and we knew this would be the perfect fit.”

Shirt Factory Co-Manager Kate Austin-Avon adds, “Our inaugural Small Works reception last year was elbow-to-elbow with attendance busting out our doors. It was a groundbreaking moment for us, and we are looking forward to the works submitted for our second year.”

The deadline for entries is Saturday, March 1, 2014. First prize is $250 cash, and other prizes will also be awarded. The show seeks sponsors for special prizes. The show’s reception and awards ceremony is Friday, April 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. The entry fee is $35 for two submissions or $45 for three.

Details and prospectus are online at www.onlinejuriedshows.com.
