New website!

New website!

So, here’s the new website!

With the new year, it felt like time for a bit of a revamp. That saying about how the cobbler’s kids have no shoes? That was Advokate’s old site. Wrapped up with client’s websites, it never got much attention for itself. During the holiday lull when (thankfully) my clients weren’t expecting much out of me as they were busy with family and celebrations and cooking (and, perhaps, recovery from perhaps eating too much of that cooking!), Advokate’s website was reborn.

You’ll see here that the bright, noisy background of Advokate’s logo isn’t as loud as it previously was. That’s intentional, and reflective of the direction the company is headed. Advokate is not only loud, bright and noisy; it’s also clean, professional and sophisticated. The business is growing up; I’m growing up; the logo is growing up. We’re still fresh and edgy and will grab your audience right in the face, don’t get me wrong! But they’ll marvel at how well we did it, too! Because we’re smooth like that. Yup.

So, looking forward to 2012: Busy as ever now that the year’s rolling along, with more skills and knowledge by the day. Our number one goal is to help people out, as it was from day one. When we started, we didn’t know where our customers would take us, and it’s turned out to be a heavy focus on web design and graphics work. You asked for it! Every day in business is a thrill.

We love what we do, and we’re here for you.
