Website Launch: The Chronicle Newspaper!

Advokate is proud and SO EXCITED to announce the launch of our biggest gig yet — The Chronicle Newspaper’s website! This project took just about six months to complete, with the efforts of Sandy Hutchinson, COO of The Chronicle heading up the project with help by Chronicle staffer Ed Deso.

The new site features select articles, shots of each week’s front page, info on how to send a press release (really valuable stuff!), advertising sizes, info about where to pick up your copy of the paper, an eCommerce shop for sales of Lone Oak Publishing Co., Inc.’s books, and contact forms to get in touch with the right people at the paper.

As a former Chronicle staffer myself, I had some insight into what they were looking for, knew we’d have a good working dynamic during the website build, had a taste for the Chronicle flava and was close to the story of how they finally came to launch a website after having only a placeholder online since 2006(!).

Sandy took the bull by the horns and learned how to use WordPress herself to get this thing launched. She deserves some applause.

Big congratulations are in order for this giant step forward for them! As a Chronicle reader, advertiser and press-release-sender myself, I know that this info being online is a timely, convenient way for Chronicle readers, promoters and advertisers to get what they need.

I am so honored that they chose me to chauffeur them into the online world.

Check it out!

And if you need a website… you know who to call, right? (It’s me!)
